The Thomas girls are the only girl cousins old enough for Chloe to play with. Chloe spent the whole week following Jaidyn around like a little shadow. It was so cute. The night they arrived, we put Chloe in our bed so when they came she wouldn't wake up- nice idea. After they arrived and settled in, we moved Chloe to her bunk bed. She woke up and saw Jaidyn and apparently the two of them stayed up late chatting and playing. HOW CUTE - little cousins staying up late to talk. I was so glad that they were able to stay with us for a few of the days they were in town. It was SUCH a treat to have all the girls here. We LOVED having you here Thomas girls!
Tuesday Morning, day 1- all play! we hung out and had a great time just playing and hanging w/ the girls. Becky, Nolan, and Reagan came over that afternoon to play. This was the first visit for Annie and the girls to meet Charlie and Reagan- we are so glad they came! Charlie was acting fine and very happy. Kevin started to get sick. That night- baths with all the girls. Sorry Nolan- you weren't invited. Chloe gets too preoccupied w/ the male anatomy right now.... Girls only!

Wednesday, day 2- I go to work and come home early sick. After being home an hour, Shannon informs me that Chloe, Rosie, and Anja have all thrown up... thus begins our sick adventure...Thursday & Friday, days 3 & 4- recovering. Annie and the girls go to my parents house so we can get better and they can too.
Saturday, day 5- JAMESTOWN
By Saturday, everyone was feeling A LOT better and was happy to be able to go for a day trip to Jamestown. Jamestown has a train museum and an actual train that the kids can ride and they tell the history of the area. All the kids LOVE trains, so this was the perfect outing.

After we had our picnic and fix of trains, we headed for Big Trees and got lost. We ended up in some little historical town (a different one) and wandered. Chloe was able to dip her own candle. She LOVED it.

It was a FABULOUS break for all of us and we were SO happy Annie was brave enough to come w/ the girls by herself. We missed Ron, but sure enjoyed having the girls. We love you guys and can't wait until next time!
