My little girls.... when Charlotte was born, my first thought was "who does she look like?" Chloe came out ALL Andrus. I expected another Andrus baby, but was totally surprised when Charlotte came out looking like... I don't know who! After seeing a baby picture of mine, I realized that Charlotte is a THOMAS! So, of course, I have been comparing baby pics of the girls and am know seeing there is both in each girl (what a shocker!).

It is crazy how alike and different they look at the same age. So, I am sure everyone is like, duh, but I am still fascinated with each of them. I love my little princesses. Girls are the best!

Andrus Family Ski Trip

This past weekend, the whole Andrus clan went to Lake New Melones near Angels Camp and had a fun weekend of jetskiing, wakeboarding, and lounging in the hot sun. Kevin's brother Peter organized this little family reunion a few months ago so everyone would make it. Although the entire event went from Thursday night to Saturday, we only made it for Friday--but what a day! We left early Friday morning and got at the lake just in time for Kevin to break in the jet ski. When he got back, he took me out. It was SO fun! I have never been jetskiing and could see us purchasing one someday. Chloe had such a good time with her cousins, too. The beach was pretty muddy, but that didn't stop them from having a good time. Even Charlotte enjoyed getting in the water and cooling off. We also had the chance to wakeboard. Kevin was able to get up and do some tricks, but I unfortunately got up long enough to fall back down. :(

Chloe, Luke, Bella, and Jonah all hanging out in the front of the boat while the parents showed their stuff on the wake board! Chloe wasn't too sure about her life jacket. It took her a while to adjust to it and get semi-comfortable in it. This just means we have to go out more often! Bring it on.

Summer Days

All these hot days lately have really been getting Chloe in the water. We started with playing in the sprinklers and graduated to a frog pool that Kevin bought. Chloe will open the back door and strip down to her birthday suit and either turn on the hose or jump in the pool. I don't know if it is the heat, or if she is just getting lazy, but take a look. She is now just lounging with clothes and all. I was in the kitchen and looked out and was a little confused until I took a closer look. What a nut!

Home Alone

Well, we finally have it- a place of our own. Granted, this place is the home we have been residing in for about 3 years of the 3.5 years we've been married, BUT, we are no longer living w/ roommates! All family has finally moved on to bigger (okay, not bigger), but better things. Recently, Shannon and Carson bought a condo and Scott decided to try a new life in the great big yonder of Florida. I can't tell you how weird it is to be able to be as loud or as messy as we want and can be! It is also (unbelievably) a lot more quiet. I know we were loud, but I didn't realize how much noise the others could be.

Needless to say, we love having our "own" place and look forward to the day that we can call our place our very "own."

it begins...

So, much to my own dismay, I am going to try this whole blogging thing. As if my life isn't hectic enough, why not add another project in the mix, right? I promise nothing special, only the quirks and randomness that is my life. If nothing else, at least an update of the craziness that is our life in the Andrus family. Enjoy!
