Update

Well, Chantelle seems to be doing fine. After attempting to have her stay still on the table for the scan, we all gave up. It was useless. duh. I tried to tell them that as I was making the appointment. So, after that wasted morning, we went to see the doctor again. She confirmed that she felt at this point, the swelling was down and she was not at all concerned for Tilly. She seemed fine and very happy. And, she is. So, for now, we are in the clear. We are still keeping an eye on her and attempting to keep her from her wreckless behavior. Wish us luck!

Preschool Graduation

Chloe has graduated from preschool. Can you even call it a graduation? One of the mom's in our co-op did a GREAT job of putting together a great little ceremony for the kids and parents. It was so stinkin cute! Next year Charlie will take her place while she goes to kindergarten! YEAH!!

Helmet Head

Tilly will be wearing this helmet for the next while. After almost a week after the accident, at least once everyday she fell and hit her head and also complained at least once that her head was hurting. On Friday I decided to take her in and was hoping that the doctor would just confirm she is fine and calm my lingering doubts. Well, he didn't exactly calm me. While she is acting like her normal self (a very good thing), she has some swelling on her skull near the place she fell. At the appointment he felt a soft spot on her head. He had me feel it as well as another doctor. This could be a sign of a skull fracture. It could also just be from the concussion and she is still healing. As a precaution, he ordered a CT to be done. We go in tomorrow to Children's hospital in Oakland. I hope it won't be anything serious. She really is doing well, but we just want to be sure. So for now... she is our helmet head all day and every day!
